Linden Oaks Landscaping & Lawn Care
At Picerne Military Housing, we do our best to improve your quality of life and overall housing experience. To us, this means making your life easier and taking chores off your plate when we can. As part of this, Picerne Military Housing provides seasonal commercial lawn mowing services at no additional charge. All common areas of each neighborhood, including all lawn areas, are thoroughly maintained through the use of the approved commercial grounds maintenance contractor, the Brickman Group, an established leader in the commercial lawn mowing business. During the growing season, mowing in your neighborhood will be completed bi-weekly to weekly as grass growth rates require.

Please keep in mind, however, that inclement weather may require adjustments to your regular lawn mowing schedule. If you have questions about your lawn mowing services, please contact your Neighborhood Center.
How to Prepare Your Yard for Mowing:
- Remove toys, trash, patio furniture, grills, and trampolines from all grassy areas on your lawn mowing day or the day before
- Remove pet waste from your yard
- Remove decorative items, such as solar lights, on your lawn mowing day
- Place pets indoors on your lawn mowing day
- Ensure that your backyard fence is unlocked to allow crews access to your yard
No-Mow Option
We understand if you prefer to maintain your own lawn. Please contact your Neighborhood Center, as a “no mow” home, you will be provided a special marker to display in your yard to alert our lawn mowing crews to skip mowing your lawn. If you choose to place your home on the no mow list, you will be expected to cut and trim your lawn as often and at least to the standard of our commercial lawn mowing service.
Schedule
As a result of the unusually warm spring and resulting grass growth rates, weekly mowing will begin the week of April 2. Your lawn care day may have changed from last year. Linden Oaks' new weekly lawn care schedule is as follows:
- Every Monday – Lindley, Old Camp, Liverpool, Tufts and McGregor
- Every Tuesday – McWilliam, Buckeye, Darden, Rousseau, Hackberry and Atlantic Coast
- Every Wednesday – Percy, Chase, Croatan, Harriman, Barrel, Periwinkle, Golden Knight and Stinson
- Every Thursday – Lion, Brave, Ram, Seahawk, Wolfpack, Charlotte, Blue Devil and Pirate Cove
- Every Friday – Yellowwood, Marigold, Rockefeller, Bloom, Alamance, Redbone, and Tartan
Additional Services
In addition to lawn mowing, the Brickman Group also provides seasonal services, including but not limited to weed removal, leaf pick-up, and spring/fall clean-up.
