About Picerne Military Housing

Picerne Military Housing is a fully integrated development, construction and property management firm, founded in 1998 to provide dramatically improved housing for America’s service members and their families. Through the Army’s Residential Communities Initiative, Picerne is partnered with the Army in the ownership of approximately 20,000 homes at Forts Meade, Bragg, Polk, Rucker, Riley, Sill and Aberdeen Proving Ground. Through integration of services, Picerne is able to focus on its core mission—taking care of soldiers and their families. This approach of putting Army families’ and soldiers’ needs first adds value in all aspects of privatized on-post housing.

Picerne is broadening its opportunities to provide housing for our country’s military through such projects as the senior unaccompanied housing pilot program for the Army at Fort Bragg called Randolph Pointe. Through its commitment to improving residential experiences for service members and families, Picerne has become the Army’s premier housing partner. Picerne actively seeks to engage local small businesses and subcontractors with the expertise and qualifications to help it meet the expectations and standards of the RCI program.

The U.S. Air Force recently announced that they selected Picerne as the highest rated offeror to privatize on-base military family housing for the Air Force Continental Group bases. Picerne Military Housing will finance, plan, design, build, renovate, manage and maintain homes on six Air Force bases across the country -- Edwards AFB, Calif.; Eielson AFB, Alaska; Eglin AFB, Fla.; Hurlburt Field, Fla.; McConnell AFB, Kan. and Seymour Johnson AFB, N.C. The Air Force selected Picerne after a competitive solicitation process led by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE).

About Fort Bragg

One of the largest and busiest military complexes in the world, Fort Bragg hosts America's Airborne and Special Operations Forces and Forces Command, the Army's largest support command. Fort Bragg's 82nd Airborne Division soldiers and others make 100,000 parachute jumps each year.

By population, Fort Bragg is the largest Army installation in the world, providing a home to almost 10 percent of the Army’s active component forces. Approximately 57,000 military and 16,000 civilian personnel work at Fort Bragg. Every day approximately 74,000 military and civilian employees in careers ranging from trades and labor to engineers and attorneys provide the services needed to train, sustain, and deploy the combat forces to America's Crisis Response Contingency Corps and Special Operations Forces. Their common daily focus is training, deploying, mobilizing, and demobilizing America’s strategic response forces and providing first-class services in such areas as retail, recreation, medicine, and education. Fort Bragg provides these services to a customer base of more than 260,000 soldiers, civilians, family members, and retirees.
